Angkor Wat sunrise

We were at Angkor Wat for 5am this morning and were soon joined by lots of others wanting to see the sun rise.  It wasn't a particularly spectacular rising, but it was lovely to see the light gradually emerging.  Definitely worth going for.  

We were back at our hotel for 8.30 am and breakfast!  

We then tool ourselves off in a Tuktuk into the city centre and a browse around the main market.  It is a rather attractive old town and the market was surprisingly easy to get around.  We are honing our bartering skills but are still not very good at it!

This afternoon we have visited our last temple in Angkor - Ta Prohm - the one used in Tomb Raider with all the tree roots and such like!  Very atmospheric even full of tourists!  Might try for an extra a little later but at the moment I am suffering from lack of storage space for today's photos!

Not to mention my suitcase...

We move on to Hanoi later tomorrow so need to see if we can squeeze all the additional purchases into the luggage...
