Hidden Gem

I was absolutely spoiled for blips on this lovely sunny autumn day. I took lots of nice photos in the garden this morning, then after lunch we went for a drive up into the Perthshire hills.

We stopped for a beautiful circular forest walk and saw a red squirrel, two owls fighting over a vole and amazing views over the woods. Didn't manage to catch the first two as they were gone in a flash, but had some nice landscapes.

We then continued along a road that was new to us, although we have lived here six years and thought we'd done them all. It took us up beside a wind farm (more good pictures) and then down into the valley of the River Ericht.

Just before we were about to join the main road again, we suddenly came upon a bridge with the above view! We'd passed the end of the road dozens of times and not known this was hidden just out of sight. Serendipity or what? Hope you like it as much as we did.
