Forres

There was nothing in the diary for today so we thought we would go somewhere for lunch. We took the car to the village car park and walked to the bus stop. The bus arrived 25 minutes late and the driver opened the door and said we couldn't get on as there were no seats and standing is not allowed on the A9. An elderly chap was running for the bus so I called to him not to run. We decided we would take the car into Inverness and we offered the 'old' chap a lift.
On the way he mentioned his age ( 10 years younger than us!!)
We arrived in town just as a no10 was about to leave so we climbed on and decided to get off in Forres. It was lovely and sunny there. After a walk round the town and some lunch we got a bus back to town. We made good use of the bus pass but our local busses are not very reliable.
