Backyard visitor

I had to take this through the window and we put the screen back up (why?).  I think it is a young male cardinal.  It just does not look like the female but I may be wrong.    He sure is pretty!


Two weeks from today we will be arriving in Colorado for our yearly visit after 3 days of traveling across the US.    I can hear those cold mornings and cool days calling my name!   This year I have really streamlined my packing and everything for me is packed and most of Jerry's.   Way ahead of schedule!      Got a list and have started checking it off!    Much less headache when it comes time to be ready to go.
