A day at Bolsover castle

The boys wanted to learn about castles so we took a trip to Bolsover. They had a great time running round the grounds, exploring the castle, trying on period costumes, battling each other with swords and shields, riding a wooden horse and taking turns attacking and defending a wooden castle. I took lots of photos so it was a tricky choice but I like this one so today's blip is of Will dressed as a medieval child.
