Kessock Bridge, and bits of Inverness. There was some sunlight today... over there a bit. There may have been more, but I wasn't outside or near any windows for most of the daylight hours.
Was unusually sociable this evening, and attended a Canoe Club planning meeting to organise some river trips. The majority of the club's paddlers are sea kayakers. That's hardly surprising when we're relatively close to some of the world's best sea paddling. We're also close to some excellent river paddling, something that the club used to mostly be into, when I first joined... nearly twenty years ago. Not much these days.
It would be good to dust down the old boat(s), and dig out some of the, now ancient, associated gear. I'll wimp out in the sub-zero temperature periods, with the (valid) excuses of poor circulation in my digits, and too little body fat for icy water swims.
