Gala theatre in Durham City and bats

Went to see a film about Canaletto. It was interesting but about half an hour too long. When returning to the car we met some people with a labrador dog who were part of a bat group and were detecting bats by the river. They had recorded quite a few. The dog was specially trained to find bat corpses. They were more interesting than the film. They had recorded: pipistrelle, daubenkians ( not sure of spelling here) and suprano pipistrelles.
