Waiting for lunch in la Barceloneta

September and Octuber are dates full of festivities in barcelona's neithborhoods. This week they are celebrating the local street party in la Barceloneta.

Barceloneta is a closely knit Barcelona 'barrio' located between the Old Port and the beach, the site of the former fisherman's community.

Walking through the neighborhood we saw that some streets were closed for receiving long tables where neighbors and friends can take a free lunch prepared by the restaurants in the streets.

In one of these streets was this couple sitting gracefully waiting for the meal to be served.
