Lezoux

We finally made it to the ceramics museum in Lezoux. Well worth the wait. We hadn't realized that the town has been a center of ceramics production since Roman times. Lots of interesting stuff but I thought this worked well.
Then we began the trip back to Limoges. A long drive but we stopped on the way at Puy de Dome, the highest volcano in France. Took the electric rack railway to the top and marveled at the views. There's been human activity up there since Roman times too. A temple to Mercury was found in the 19th century when they were building an observatory.
A night in the airport hotel at Limoges and home in the morning.
