Sunset over the Hudson

Drove cross country to Hudson, NY to catch up with family and see the new House Rules Cafe.    Everyone complaining about the heatwave and failing to understand why I am enjoying it so much.  

Kate and I took a short stroll  to the river before we all went out for 'izakaya'.  A new discovery for me.

Hudson is an interesting blend of chic and trendy mixed with gritty and derelict.    This abandoned grain storage tank caught my eye.
