Piper to the End
Today was the Loch Ness Marathon and I volunteered to help Macmilan Cancer Support, my initial job was to encourage and support the runners as they were approaching the finish line as this is the hardest part of the race as by this point energy levels are pretty low and your muscles are aching. As it turned out they needed someone to take photos of the runners supporting Macmillan so I offered to take some images for them. I was going to post a blip of some of the many runners who took part, but when I was getting my lunch in the food tent I noticed a group of Pipers sitting in a circle having there lunch and just as I was about to take a group shot this lady piper turned round and smiled she looked so smart in her Highland Dress I could not resist taking her photo. I will hopefully manage to add some of the runners to my Blipfolio.
