Meeting Rula

Cooper seems to have moved on from his Dumbo  impersonation yesterday. Here he is having a play with his new buddy Rula. Only 8 weeks old they've met a few times now but today they actually played together with toys. He is so gentle with her but constant supervision required as she seems to be quite fearless.
Cooper's sister Bess is staying with us just now but she is less interested in puppy antics.
Baking progressing well for tomorrows coffee morning: caramel brownies and jammy shortbread are boxed up and ready for tomorrow. Toffee apple muffins will be made first thing in the morning and I'm still deciding whether to make another swiss roll. Last nights was lovely but perhaps a bit too much of a pudding. Thank you for the kind offers for tasting - if we sample any more there may be nothing to donate!
