I went to see Victoria and Abdul today. I enjoyed it although you already knew what was going to happen really. At the end of the film they showed a picture of the real Abdul. He was not as attractive in real life as he was in the film. This beautification of real people gets my goat. When it is a real person why cannot we see someone who hasn't been ' airbrushed' for the screen. Give some work to plainer actors when the real people were not oil paintings. Rant over.
