The end of the pier show

Short entry - ive left my reading glasses behind, so I will update this tomorrow!

Well, I've managed to recover my glasses thanks to some emergency phone calls (thanks Steve) and can read stuff again - phew. Last night saw me attend a Las Vegas themed charity ball at Weston Super Marr' Grand Pier. The Elvis impersonator was very good, but the burlesque dancer who cavorted in a giant champagne glass was not well received by anyof the ladies on my table.

The evening was nearly ruined when I realised on the taxi back to Bristol that I had left my reading glasses behind, but fortunately all ended well.
