Mother's little helper

We use pea straw a lot for mulch at OGH.  The downside is that it's full of peas.

When we went up to the garden this arvo, I reckon there were 8-10 crested pigeons patiently sifting through the straw for the seeds.  A meal for them, no weeds for me.

It's called a win-win situation.
