Dorset Weekend

Lovely, lovely weekend with an old friend in Dorset. Stayed in a charming B&B overlooking Chesil Bank. Explored Weymouth and its TWO nature reserves (right in the town!) Weymouth wasn't as I remembered it; it's had a complete makeover for the Olympics (the nautical events were held there). Spent today mooching about in West Bay and Bridport, but not before we'd detoured down to Chesil Beach and watched the rough seas. It has been wonderful to catch up with the old friend, visit some new places /old haunts, and spend two days in close proximity to the ocean.
