Fun at the Mall

Today was a 'run errands' and shopping day. So we headed to Dubai Mall, which I really like and think is one of the only good things about Dubai's new big projects!! Yes I can say that because I was born here (back in the '60s) and have seen all it's major developments AND don't really like some of its new outrageous projects!

Had lunch at a really lovely Italian restaurant overlooking the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, and found that huge parmesan cheese wheel there, couldn't help getting a photo. And the others are from a souvenir shop, of course I couldn't resist the pink tshirts and pink camels. Aren't the Arab stuffed toys cute/crazy?

Got a really sore throat now, weather's changing here in the Middle East and lots of sick people around :(
