Castle Ring - Autumn colours

A change of plan.....so I went for a mid morning swim. It was pouring with rain. There's something magical about swimming in the rain. You're already wet and the sensation of drops touching your skin as you swim is special.

It cleared up around lunchtime and I headed up to the Iron Age fort - Castle Ring. Autumn colours, changing light, tree shapes.....magic.

A lovely place to walk, and just be peaceful.

There was nobody else around in this allegedly ancient haunted place. Pure magic....
