Another good bye

This time to this little unit which sat on the dresser.  Finally given up the ghost after being on the blink for the past few days.
Don't even own any tapes to play now, which shows it has been around a long time.  I remember my husband buying it and paying what I thought was a lot of money at the time.  Usually I have the receipt, but that is missing, perhaps he didn't want reminding of how much it cost!
I have the radio on 24/7 so will have to get a replacement ere too long.  Temporarily I am using one from upstairs which normally sits on the landing to give me all round sound!
Have asked No1 son to search out a replacement - he is more knowledgeable than I.
