It Had Me Fooled for a Moment.

TM left early this morning - he's going on an old geezers' jolly with three former colleagues, celebrating the retirement of one of them by revisiting Monpellier where they used to take a student field-trip every year. 

Twelve hours later he's still on the ground at Gatwick and sounding a bit fed-up. I'm sure it'll all be worth it!

Last night I discovered that I've been driving round without an MOT for the last week. The first slot I could get was for tomorrow morning, so I've had an extra day in town.

I needed to go to John Lewis, but totally forgot that I'd have to approach from the North. I didn't remember until I was suddenly faced with the above at the end of Multrees Walk. For a moment I thought a miracle had occurred - but no. It's just a artist impression of what will (may) one day be there ; for the time being it hides the devastation within.
