Rushing around in Paris
I was up very early this morning as I wanted to leave in good time to get to Ebbsfleet to get the Eurostar to Paris. While I was in the shower Gavin arrived home, his plane had landed early so it was good that I got to see him, albeit briefly, before I left - yes, just like ships passing in the night morning.
Everything went smoothly, I met the rest of my camera group at Ebbsfleet and we had an easy journey to Paris - we were lucky, as later there were serious delays in the Eurotunnel due to 'an incident'.
We spent the day wandering around taking photos of the the scenes of Paris - the cafe culture, buildings and people. I decided to attempt some panning as I have never really done it before, and with cars, scooters and bicycles rushing round it seemed like a good opportunity to do so.
We went to supper with our camera bags and tripods as we planned to do some night photography after supper, but at about 9pm it started pouring with rain and so that put an end to that. We caught Ubers back to our hotel as although it was not far we did not want to get wet. We are all tired after the early start so its now off to bed and another busy day planned for tomorrow.
