Mykonos

Yet another busy day. Two boats took us to the island of Delos where we explored the ancient ruin of the city. It always seems amazing to me that so many civilisations were built on trading grain, olives, fruits spices, fabrics and precious spices and our civilisation is built on rubbish essentially. We trade in plastics, we buy food we could grow, like spring onions and transport it half way around the world.
What the UK will trade after Brexit is anyone's guess.

After a look at the famous Mykonos windmills we returned to the ship for some relaxation and the evening meal. A great game of table tennis rounded off the evening. With an early rise tomorrow for the cycling trip I hope I sleep well and the hip knee and any other dodgy joints stand up to it.
