World Rowing Championships

We went to the World Rowing Championship Finals today in Sarasota, Florida to see our friend's daughter, Jenny Casson, row for the Canadian Lightweight Women's Quad Team. They finished 4th overall!! It was a very exciting race! Here is the re-cap from Rowing Canada. Wow - go Jenn!! 

i'm adding a couple more photos off the big Jumbotron screen that we could look at in the stands to see more close-up photos of the race. Also the "Finish" building (on the Finish line!). We were in the grandstands where it was rather hot . . . I used my program as a fan! Momentarily forgot all about it during the races and drank a big bottle of water. :o) 

As you can see by the Jumbotron photo, Jenn & her mates wanted to make a better placement. I am very proud of her 4th!!
