Across the lake

Glad it's Friday, after a busy week at work!

On the way to Alnwick, we stopped off at Branton to walk with Louie by one of the lakes. It was a lovely mild, still evening with a little bit of blue sky peeping through the clouds on occasion - a complete change from this morning, when it was very dull and wet.

A fairly normal Friday evening, despite the fact that it's MrM's birthday. He enjoyed fish and chips (one of his favourite meals!) at Carlo's, but we're planning a celebratory meal out next week.
