Birthdaze

Two birthday parties last weekend and another one today, with the wee man's' friend, Katjus turning 6. The kids have quite the social life!!

It was a lovely sunny day so the kids spent all afternoon in the garden and wore themselves out in the fresh air. Katjus's Dad has built a pretty spectacular playground in the back yard and he also organised a few fun science experiments for the kids to try. Mind you, ours weren't very interested in participating!

I think the kids managed to sugar themselves out at the bake off yesterday as neither of them were all that interested when the chocolate birthday cake arrived at the end of the celebration even though it was super delicious. It's nice to know that occasionally they will say no to treats.
