Piccalilli

Had a desire to eat piccalilli. The shop bought stuff proved not nearly as nice as the  jar of home made that my sister-in-law gave me for Christmas which has long since been eaten,  so decided to make my own.
Two problems- i) the recipe only made 2 jars so will have to make some more and ii) I have to wait 2 months while it matures before I can eat it and give a verdict on the recipe - Delia.  

Piccalilli dates back to the 1700s  when Empire travellers mention an Indian pickle called pickle lilla or similar

Meanwhile Mr P walked another 25 miles of the North Downs Way.
