Silly Saturday - fighting over a ball!

Another Saturday, another game of rugby! The only unusual thing about today was the fact that the game was at ‘home’ and I didn’t need to drive the bus for the boys. I’m now into my third season of hires for Earlston RFC, but I had never actually been to a game at The Haugh, so with having this weekend off, I decided to go along with my camera this afternoon.

The game was against Lismore from Edinburgh and Earlston managed to win 28 - 25, but it was a close game. It was exciting enough for one of the spectators to suggest that the club invest in a defibrillator, purely for the fans.
