Knitting (and nattering)

Attended a Knitting Workshop today - lovely to be among such like-minded people. It was arranged by Marie Wallin and focused on Fair Isle knitting - we were supplied with beautiful Shetland wool from Jamieson's of Shetland in 10 shades to make a hat. Well to start making it  - not enough time to finish it there - we brought it home to do that! There was plenty of expert help for those uncertain about anything. A lovely lunch - and scrummy cakes before we went home - were provided in the lovely Brooksby Hall near Melton Mowbray which has beautifully kept grounds - and even provided sunshine! The 'extra' shows the exterior of the hall.
