Polly Joke

Today we caught a bus to Perranporth and walked back to Newquay. This lovely little bay is called Porth Joke. Porth Joke Beach, which is sometimes known as Polly Joke Beach, is a sandy beach nestling in an attractive, narrow cove between Kelsey Head and Pentire Point West headlands. Two other walkers we met were camping there and enthused about the site, really cool camping. It was high tide when we got to the River Gannel so we had to go the long way round, walking a total of 13 miles in all.
