Crashed

Not me this time. I was in a 80km race today, and had just been dropped by my bunch when ahead of me there was carnage. My mate Wayne went down heavily and was out cold for a couple of minutes. Ambulance was called and he was taken away for concussion tests which fortunately he passed. I struggle to understand critics of bike helmets - this one clearly took the brunt of a reasonably high speed fall and the outcome would definitely have been far more serious without it.
