Breakfast Recce

We had thought to book birthday breakfast with the family next week and so Him Outdoors and I cycled out to check out the venue. It was cloudy first thing but by the time we'd had a coffee and a breakfast roll, it was beautifully sunny. We certainly got the best of the day on the way home - even if there was a bit of a headwind.
Shopped and cooked for a friend's visit for dinner this evening. A good time was had by all - far too much eaten and drunk and then a music memory lane until the early hours!
