My Money Was On Number 8...

Another busy, friend filled day with visitors over for the weekend...including fellow blipper WinchWench, who started blipping on the recommendation of our mutual friend Nicky, so we have used the excuse for all of us to have a bit of a get together.

We had planned on the York Balloon Fiesta for the balloon flights but as we were queuing for the car park, the heavens opened and as we drove into the car park we found out the balloon flights had been cancelled...the only things running were the fairground rides and I did like the traditional horse race betting game, my money was on number 8.

The rain eventually won out for the promise of a Chinese takeaway and a few bottles of Prosecco.

Things I am grateful for:
1) Friends who arrive for the weekend with gifts of Prosecco.
2) Having a local Chinese that offers a great takeaway
3) Blip for the lovely Blippers and the friendship formed
