Chocks away!

Two fine classics in one photo, E-Type and Hurricane. They greeted me this morning at the entrance to North Weald Airfield in Essex, where the Southern Group of Motoring Writers held the first of its new series of Sunday breakfast gatherings. It was a very convivial get-together. We met in the Wings Cafe, where the ‘Jet Provost’ breakfast was enough to keep me flying along all day!
