A DERELICT BARN
This barn is situated in an abandoned garden on the hill above Herstelle.
We often walk to this garden, because there is a nice (derelict too) picnic table, and a fantastic view over the Weser valley, at Würgassen at the other side of the river. We wonder if there is still an owner, but if there is, he or she has not been there in ages.
The sun shone all day so prettily. In the morning we started to cut the laurel bush, actually Piet Hein had begun yesterday already, but today I joined him. And it will take more hours than we fancy.
A wonderful surpise to see my picture of the silly donkey so well received, lovely comments, many stars and hearts. Thank you all, I feel overwhelmed by it.
The first thing I will do tonight is looking at the many entries of the challenge, and comment on each picture as much as I can.
I think there will be no time left for commenting on other photos today.
My entry I will tag OctoberDC, for the Derelict Sunday Challenge, which is not hosted nowadays.
I feel so sorry for Mischa and her cat Jet, cat is ill, and the treatment does not work yet enough. She does not want to eat, but happily enough she drinks water. Tomorrow the vet will suggest what has to be done next. It is always so sad to see a dear pet suffering, and looking more frail every day.
