Not the best start to a Sunday morning

Went into the bathroom at 7.20 to find the floor wet.
A quick look in the cupboard showed that the supply pipe to the water softener was leaking.
Tried to isolate it but the valve handle sheared off so had to shut the main stoptap.
Remade the hose joint and put the mains back on and it seemed to hold.
Have had the fan heater running all day to dry out the boards and cupboard base.
Just hope the chipboard recovers.
New manifold and valves to make tomorrow
