Mishkid mates

A lovely lunch cooked for us by Stevie (pictured) at theirs with his sister Rebekah and their dad. Great conversation. Then the two of them spent the afternoon entertaining the kids - in the garden and baking a cake and “pastéis de Belém” (egg custard tarts). Both great with kids and so easy to get on with - I put it down to our “missionary kid” or “third culture” bond (they grew up in Mozambique).

An extra, courtesy of Beth, of me speaking tonight at a coffee shop - mainly as a record of the day as the main thing that dominated it was speaking at 8:30am, 10:30am and 7pm services! SO glad it’s over!! (Have backblipped for yesterday - had to go to bed before blipping yesterday due to the early service today!)
