Kindling

While I much prefer the long days of summer over the dreich and dull oppressiveness of a Scottish winter, I do enjoy the opportunity the long nights afford to indulge in hyyge; that great Danish term that conveys a sense of warmth and cosiness. Following a wet and windy day, this evening saw the fire lit for the first time this Autumn.
