chasing butterflies

The other day at De Soto Memorial I saw these butterflies chasing each other down the path. With the dogs in tow it was a challange but I started snapping away in hopes of something. It really was a magical sight watching them swoop up and down and then slip away into the jungle-like woods. If fact I was slightly disoriented when I stopped taking photos as I was so engrossed I was not as far along  the path as I expected to be!!

I managed just a few photos that actually caught them as they were moving so fast. This one I brought into photoshop and added a filter to emphasize. I tried about 5 different versions but this one represented their flight most alike to my real experience!
