Same Old.....

The nights are fair drawing in and the mornings too, especially if the Gulf Stream continues to make it dull and rainy first thing in the day.

The wind is strimming the leaves off the trees with ever increasing efficiency, and the remaining late flowering tub geraniums are giving up the ghost.

The Dower House inhabitants are hunkering down for the autumn with hats, gloves and scarves at the ready to combat the already cold west wind. It's been quite a rude awakening for us after the much milder Channel Islands and St Malo temperatures.
