A window of sunshine

Had to go down to the town this morning to pick up all the engraved trophies for the Photo Club - it's our first winter meeting tonight. Mrs M took them back in the car and I walked back, though it was a bit wild. 

After yesterday's rather negative Blip I thought I should do something positive, but settled for this picture of the boats clustered round the North Pier. I had to wait for the sun to pop out and that didn't happen very often! 

At the Railway Pier on the other side of the bay even the lifeboat was tucked in behind the ferries - I think its usual spot has been rather exposed over the last couple of days.
