Stowe Blipmeet

Unfortunately I have no 'group hug' photos but Anniemay and DDW took some and I'll link to their journals later.  It was a great day and a fun blipmeet with lots of laughter and chat, tea and lunch.  We spent a long time wandering the grounds at Stowe - beautiful even in the flat, grey light. Then we discovered that Stowe House was open so we took the guided tour, which was really interesting.

My blip is of the Oval Hall taken with my lovely 12mm lens so a very wide angle shot with enough distortion to be interesting.  Extras of a stairwell (also with the 12mm) and one of the rooms with a mirrored reflection.

Now off out to dinner with Dana and Richard. It has been a fantastic time getting to know these people in real life.
