First day of the Holidays

It has been an unpredictable weather day today, it has kept squalling, so we've had to do a number of dashes inside while playing out. The wind was up enough, that despite this, my laundry dried outside.

The Youngest had a friend over for a play, and the Eldest and I did some baking this morning. Once the friend was picked up, I asked the girls what they wanted to do..."Play Handball!"

Lots of handball, and when the weather would turn, we'd race inside and play cards. They weren't interested in going anywhere today. Obviously the holidays have arrived at the right time when they needed a recharge.
