calm after the storm

It was windy last night! And still blowing a gale when I got up for work this morning. Plenty of conkers under the tree when I went for a walk later on.

I picked what I think will be the very last of the blackberries for our tea, and Sarah roasted some pumpkin. It's strange how those big orange pumpkins appear in the shops punctually at the beginning of October and then vanish mysteriously after halloween...
