Over the years we have gradually replaced any Italian equipment.The potting machine is one of the last we have and for the second time this year we have had trouble with the flights which can be seen just above the compost.A bolt had sheared twisting two of the flights badly.They are simply bolted on but a swine to get at and involves laying face down in the compost to reach them.As I replace them I am putting sprung washers or nylon bolts in which should have been done in the first place.

I now have compost in places that shouldn't be mentioned.Bath needed.
