The Green Hills of Spring....

We have had wall to wall sunshine here today. Maisie and I were out walking before 7.am. The Omaka ford had been washed out after recent rains but this morning I found it had been reinstated. So we were able to cross the river and walk upstream along the true left bank. The river levels have dropped enabling me to cross back over the river even further upstream via the big stepping stones. Maisie waded across while I stood on one stepping stone and photographed the distant spring green hills of Meadowbank Station.
