purple haze

The wisteria climbing the gate and by the verandah look sad and skeletal during winter and then suddenly in spring, grapey bunches of tight budded flowers appear.
Within a week or so they are in full bloom and the bees are in overdrive.
The foliage then takes over and finally there is some confusion as yet more flowers make an appearance.
