Elf'N'Safety ...........

After walking the dog it was up to the dentist about my broken tooth.
3 options ..........
Fill the crack in the filling that is left (where the tooth has left the mouth) - shortest life expectancy and cheapest
Take out the filling and replace it - better option so long as the rest of the tooth stays intact. More expensive.
Fit a crown. Best long term and most expensive option.

I went for the cheap option since I have had no problems at all since the tooth broke. If it doesn't work or last long I will go for the crown.
The dentist agreed it was the best way to go.

SWMBO and I then headed off to get my my shot of the road bridge for my series of three for the camera club challenge.
I walked down onto the carraigeway next to the bridge authority building and got this blip.
It is fairly heavily cropped due to the cones and illuminated Road Closed sign and not quite what I was after.
So I headed off to stand next to the sign to get the picture.
I got halfway there and got whistled and shouted at to get off the road because it was dangerous .... buses (very, very rarely) come down the old slip road, turn round and come back up (Why? they don't stop-  there is no bus stop. They just come down from the roundabout and go right back up to it).
He was not a happy - or sensible - man!
So I walked down the pedestrian walkway, climbed up and sat on the railing to get this shot
I was going to climb over and go and get the shot, but I knew the tw*t would be watching on the CCTV and I really couldn't be bothered fighting with him.

After this we went along to Honeypot Ceramics - a new location for a 'paint your own ceramics' craft establishment with a gift shop and (soon to be) cafe.
We had a tea, a coffee and a couple of slices of cakes from a local baker ..... excellent cakes they were too.
You can't ask for a better location  to view the bridges.
By the time we came out the last of the light was hitting the Crossing.

After lunch I took PD for his walk and we went round the playing fields.
We came across some council workmen who had parked their two vans on the footpath in order to put in a sign post pointing out the paths!
As PD and I took to the grass to get past we saw one of the men staggering along in front of us under the weight of another huge signpost while another man with a wheelbarrow and shovels followed. They were going to put the post at another path junction ...... which the vans had driven past!
Why didn't they just drop the stuff off?
Not very bright!

The walk obviously tired PD out - he insisted on joining sWMBO on the couch and sleeping on her leg.

Another wee box made on the lathe. Not great but Hey Ho!
