Tiny Tuesday Bee

I'm hosting the Tiny Tuesday challenge this month, so I headed out with my macro lens on this gorgeous autumn day.  The dahlias are in full bloom at a gem of a local garden.  The flowers in themselves are spectacular, with the added bonus of these large bees.  I think they are carpenter bees, but I'm no bee expert.
