Sorry...

...this is basically an emergency blip picture...

A couple of appointments this morning and some shopping meant I went to bed when I got in as I was tired.

Anyway, this morning I bought some swimming goggles...just cheap £1 ones, but I thought they might suit my purpose.

For some reason I am feeling the cold a bit more this year so I had an idea the central heating might come on much sooner than usual.

So what has this got to do with swimming goggles?

I tried them out when I went to bed for a sleep this afternoon. Bliss....

Are you confused?

I woke up to Popeye sleeping on my tummy and he was keeping me lovely and warm. And my eyes were lovely and cool and moist.

You probably know I suffer from very dry eyes. When I am asleep they get drier, uncomfortable, and wake me up.

So these swimming goggles are for wearing when I sleep!

I do have one of those much bigger plastic workmen’s safety masks, and they work very well to keep moisture in my eyes, but try sleeping with those on!

I have a long day tomorrow, and I spent the last few hours composing and printing a couple of letters I need to give someone tomorrow which I am hoping will help something. So I am in bed early, and we shall see how those goggles work tonight!
