Mount Drury

A very late blip for yesterday, as rather late home. Ian had afternoon in Tauranga yesterday having appointments ready for his spinal surgery in two weeks, but all good. Drove via Mount Maunganui and grabbed some shots of the beach but rather liked this shot behind of the pohutakawa's on Mount Drury. They have such structure and it won't be long before the grey buds burst into colour, the beautiful red that we call our NZ christmas tree.
